Elsie Eiler is the most admired person in Monowi, Nebraska. He also was the most clever, the healthiest, most beautiful and most young people in Monowi. Understandably, Eiler is the only resident in Monowi.
When people become the only people in one place, then all the titles and designations were so well suited. Eiler, who is now 77 years old, was the only occupant Monowi. A village in northeastern Nebraska, USA.
It is unique. U.S. Census 2010 results show Monowi is the only villages, towns and cities in the country that only has one resident. Monowi, according to the census, have two people in 2000. But one resident who is none other than Eiler husband, Rudy, had died in 2004.
Eiler lives in a mobile home about a half block from the only place of business in the city, Monowi Tavern. That fits because Eiler owns and operates the shop
Eiler and her husband bought the place in 1971. He’s now been there 12 hours a day to serve drinks and food. Eiler also runs the town library. A small building was filled with 5,000 books offered for Rudy, who is a fan of reading.
No need to have the election, he said, “because I’ll be the only voices”.
